A pastor was eaten by three giant crocodiles while he attempted to copy the Biblical Jesus Christ, by walking on water. It seems like most pastors are really striving to copy everything the Bible said Jesus did during his years on earth.
Now, it has been reported that Pastor Jonathan Mthethwa, of the Saint of the last days church in Mpumalanga, Zimbabwe, was eaten by crocodiles while trying to prove that he could walk on water as well.
According to members of his church who saw him being eaten by not one but three crocodiles, Jonathan had gone to the crocodile river to show them that what happened in the bible could happen in our time, if only they believed. One of the members identified as Deacon Nkosi, said:
“The pastor taught us about faith on Sunday last week. He promised he would demonstrate his faith to us today, but he unfortunately ended up drowning and getting eaten by 3 large crocodiles in front of us. We still don’t understand how this happened because he fasted and prayed the whole week.” Read more:
Jonathan was said to have walked only about 30 meters into the river before the crocodiles appeared and started feasting on him. Deacon Nkosi also said:
“They finished him in a couple of minutes. All that was left of him when they finished eating him is a pair of sandals and his underwear floating above the water.
” Emergency services were called but they were 30 minutes too late as Pastor Jonathan was already dead.
