The groups which include; Good Governance and Leadership Assessment Initiatives, National Congress of Nigerian Students and World Institute For Peace say, the association has not conducted itself in a civilised manner.
Representatives of the group who spoke in Osogbo, the Osun state capital called on the zonal chapter of ASUU and the national body of the union to retract the statement and issue a public apology to the UNILORIN.
They however threatened litigation against the Ibadan chapter of ASUU and the national body should they fail to issue the public apology.
The groups also fault ASSU’s approach to issues between them and the Federal Government saying, it is high time the union began to adopt round table discussion to resolving crisis rather than its combative approaches.
