IPOB: Lalong confirms two persons dead in Jos unrest

Plateau state governor Simon Lalong, has confirmed the death of two persons following Thursday’s unrest, in Jos.

Lalong made this known at an emergency meeting with leaders of various communities in the state.

The unrest followed a clash between the IPOB and Nigerian Army in Abia state. The governor declared a dusk to dawn curfew in Jos and Bukuru metropolis, following the clash.

Interior Minister, Abdulrahman Danbazzau who was in Jos to ascertain the situation, condemned the violence.
