The Vice Chancellor, Osun
State University, Professor Labo Popoola has identified the use ofobsolete academic curriculum in education institutions as one of the banes of the Nigeria’s all-round development.
The university don could not agree less with some school of thoughts while speaking on the need to revisit Nigeria’s education curriculum at all levels.
Professor Popoola was speaking in Osogbo at the 17th Edition of The Frontliners, an interactive platform designed by the Association of Veteran Journalists, Osun state.
He said education curriculum is too absolute to attend to development need of Nigeria as a country, thus the need for holistic review.
On the new cut off mark set by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, another guest, Professor Goke Lalude described the public debate on it as not worthy of decapitating energy and time.
