IPOB: League of lawyers asks US Embassy to withdraw statement endorsing IPOB

The League of African Democratic Lawyers in Nigeria, has issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the United States of American Embassy to withdraw its declaration of Indigenous People of Biafra as a non terrorist group.

Secretary General of the league, John Oboh gave the ultimatum during a protest at the US embassy in Abuja

Oboh said the statement from the US is a calculated attempt to boost the morale of the IPOB members, cause disintegration of Nigeria and undermine its sovereignty.
